Rev. David Rose Appointed to the Vocare Steering Committee!

Rose 001Bishop Scott Benhase of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia has appointed the Reverend David Rose to the Vocare in Georgia Steering Committee. On the committee, Rose will serve as the Spiritual Director representing the Diocese of Georgia.

Rose serves as Vicar of St. Luke’s in Rincon outside of Savannah. Prior to St. Luke’s, Rose served two years as Assistant Rector for Youth & Family Ministries at St. Anne’s, Tifton. While at St. Anne’s he was the Chaplain to the Canterbury Club at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC). He is a graduate of the Virginia Theological Seminary and prior to seminary worked as Youth Director for St. Timothy’s, Winston Salem, NC, from 2005-2009. He has a BA in History and Religion from James Madison University. David is married to Amy, and they have four boys, Jonathan, Micah, Elijah, and Isaac. Rose served as a Spiritual Director for Vocare #23.

The members of the Vocare Steering Committee are enthused about Rose’s appointment and welcome him wholeheartedly.
