Next Vocare Weekend
Vocare #25 will be held October 2-4 at Camp Mikell in Toccoa,GA. Staffed by young adults and Episcopal clergy, the Vocare weekend is one that is filled with time for prayer, time for discussions, time to relax and time to strengthen your Christian community.

Vocare is an intentional weekend for young adults, typically aged 18 – 30, where pilgrims (participants) have the opportunity to being exploring their God-given vocation. The atmosphere of the weekend is one that is open, honest, loving and supportive, giving pilgrims a safe space to explore questions about their faith and their future. The staff is comprised of young adults and Episcopal clergy from both dioceses (Atlanta & Georgia), who will share their experiences discovering their identity in Christ and how they are finding their place in the world. Pilgrims will have the opportunity to explore those same questions and more through small- and large-group discussions, individual and group activities, prayer and more.

The Pilgrim registration form can be accessed via the link below. The cost for the weekend is $100. Half is due at the time of registration; the other half can be paid when you arrive at Honey Creek. Pilgrim Applications are due September 25, 2015.
We invite all Vocati (those who have participated in a Vocare weekend as a pilgrim) to prayerfully consider whether you feel called to serve on the next weekend. The weekend staff work diligently and prayerfully to prepare for the Vocare weekend. There are several roles that serve diverse needs on the weekends, all geared toward serving the needs of the pilgrims and creating an amazing experience for those pilgrims.
Staff Meetings: Please note that there will be two staff meetings in advance of the weekend, which are designed for the staff to come together, build community, pray and prepare for the weekend. The first meeting will be held on TBA, and the overnight staff meeting will be held on TBA. All staff are required to attend both meetings.
